Well we are well and truly up and running now as Wombwell Main Warriors under 12s with 2 tournaments and our first 11 a side friendlies completed which when I get chance will put in the match report section.

Whilst we are on the introduction there are a few thank yous we need to say to the many people who have got us off to this great new start.

Firstly to Terry Simon manager of the under 18s who begged borrowed and stole balls, bibs and cones in order for us to train with. Terry was also instrumental in helping us get in the top division to which we definately belong and touch wood we will prove this right.

Secondly to Gwyn and Gary managers of our younger age groups who have welcomed us on bored and helped us settle in.Special thanks especially to Gary who has helped me navigate this fantastic web site which I would not have had a clue otherwise.

Thanks to our sponsors for our brand new home and away kits (cos no one plays in yellow allegadly!)My boss Derek and Stuarts boss Kel have provided us with these.Thanks also to Wayne for securing our jackets from The Tykes Retreat sandwich bar at Hoyland and to Graham Colville Plumbing and Heating for the tracksuit bottoms.Lastly thanks to Paul, Garys right hand man for the 2 match balls he acquired us also.

Its great to be part of the Wombwell Main set up and with the success that all our age groups will undoubtedly get this can only encourage more and more players from all age groups to want to come and play for us.
