Wombwell Warriors will have 4 junior teams for the forthcoming season . Under 18's , Under 13's , Under 12's and Under 11's .The Under 13's , 12's and 11's will play in the Charles Rice League and the Under 18's will play in the Sheffield League .
Last season was an highly successful year for the club .Under 10's have managed the League and Cup Double for the 2nd season running . Terry's lads, the Under 18's, have finished 2nd in the league playing a year above themselves so next season should be Champions .
The Under 11's and Under 12's both won their respective Leagues , so we had 3 out of 4 League Champions .
Hopefully the success will continue this season which we are sure it will . The high standard of coaching staff at the club and the talent which they attract will continue to keep Wombwell Warriors as one of the leading clubs in the Yorkshire area .
Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
